Camp
in Hidden Valley
beneath Tukuche Peak ( 6920m ) Tukuche
peak ( 6920m, 22,703ft ) is one of the highest 6000m objectives in the
Nepal Himalaya. It is a picturesque and near symmetrical 2-ridge pyramid with the NW and SE ridges radiating from the summit. The obvious and safest route is the NW ridge, the most frequently climbed presenting low objective danger. Although the ridge itself is not steep, it is considered a technical
climb, the elevation exposes climbers to cold and windy conditions. Tukuche Peak is classified as a 7000m expedition with a rating of PD++. The advanced base camp for the NW Ridge climb is in the Hidden Valley at ( 5100m, 16,732ft ) |
