Wu Gorge

 the second of the Three Gorges in the Yangtze River.

 Formed by the Wu River,

 it stretches 45km from Wushan to
Guandukou.

 It is located downstream of Qutang Gorge

 and upstream of Xiling Gorge.

Wu Gorge is renowned for its deep valley

 and steep-sided, forested peaks.

 The twelve rugged peaks of the Wu Mountain

 line the banks of the gorge.

  Goddess Peak is the most attractive.
