the People's Republic
of China located on the eastern side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong province in the north and facing the South China Sea in the east, west and to the south. Hong Kong was a Crown Colony of the United Kingdom from 1842 until 1981. From 1981 Hong Kong was a British Dependent Territory. In
1997 Hong Kong was returned to the People's Republic of China. |

Clock Tower in Hong Kong
The Clock Tower is a landmark in Hong Kong. It is on the southern shore of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. It is the only remnant of the former Kowloon Station on the Kowloon-Canton Railway. Officially named Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower it is usually referred to as the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower. |
