Lake Garda

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. It is located in Northern Italy about half-way between Venice and Milan. In an alpine region it was formed by glacier action at the end of the last ice age. It is easily accessible from the north via the Brenner pass and is a major tourist destination with many hotels and resorts along its shore. |
