boat is the "Yarrow"
built for Seagull Trust Cruises it carries handicapped and elderly passengers between Kirkintilloch and Bishopbriggs. The boat was built by apprentices at Yarrow Shipbuilding Glasgow who then donated the boat. Since 1983 thousands of passengers have sailed on this canal thanks to Yarrow and the volunteers who man the boat. |
